Its official - we now have a certificate of occupancy for the new Journey home! Get ready for the grand opening on October 4th!

Matt is beside himself with joy as the new screens are up in the new Journey auditorium.  It’s all coming together!

They started installing the irrigation and street trees this week.
Now they are prepping the street and parking lot for paving. It
should be paved by the end of the week. They are also finishing the
bio-retention ponds (rain gardens). Next week they will begin to

The brick on the building is completed and they have put in most of
the windows. They have drywalled most of the walls, and its starting
to feel like a complete building. Now we are getting to the slow
detailed part of the building process. We are still looking at
completing construction in September. The [...]

Wow!  The crews have been working really hard on the building, and they have a LOT to show for their work!  The brickwork is done and interior work has begun in earnest.

This weekend, the work crews started putting up the steel girders!  Word is that they may have all the steel up by the end of the week.  Check back often to see the progress this week.

As of December 23rd. They are pouring footings for the foundation. Next will be pouring the
concrete floor and grading the parking lot. Follow the progress on
